The Fern Dell Nature Trail is a unique walking trail for Los Angeles residents. It borders a creek that nourishes tropical flora beneath the shade of sycamores, which is always lush and green due to the recycled water it receives from Griffith Observatory.

The Fern Dell Nature Trails connect with other walking pathways that lead directly to the Griffith Observatory. The hike will take around 3.0 miles / 4.8 kilometers, and parking at the Fern Dell Nature Trail is free.
